Fascia back

To the fascia thoracolumbar fascia is back (fascia thoracolumbalis), a dense fibrous sheath, which houses the deep back muscles. It consists of two layers. Superficial leaf, which is also called back, begins on the spinous processes of thoracic, lumbar and sacral vertebrae, on each side attached to the corners of the ribs and the bottom - to the iliac crest. The superficial fascia in a piece of thoracolumbar lumbar thicker than in the chest. The side edge of the muscles, straightening the spine, superficial sheet merges with a deep, forming a fibrous sheath, which is a muscle and, straightening the spine. Deep (anterior) leaflet is only in the lumbar region and stretched between the transverse processes of lumbar vertebrae, the iliac crest region and the XII rib.

In the occipital region is nuchae fascia (fascia nuchae), which lies between the superficial and deep muscle groups. On each side of the fascia nuchae becomes superficial fascia of the neck piece.
