The compounds of the lower limb bones belt

Compound left and right pelvic bone - pubic symphysis (simphisis ossium pubis) - formed surfaces simfizialnymi pubic bones joined mezhlobkovym disc (discus intarpubicus). Strengthened the connection on the upper edge of the upper pubic ligament (lig. pubicum superius), and the bottom - curved pubic ligament (lig. arcuatum pubis).

Polusustav formed ear-shaped surface of the ilium and sacrum, called the sacroiliac joints (articulatio sacroiliaca). The shape of the joint is flat, with few movements in it. Joint capsule is attached to the edge of the articular surfaces, joint reinforcing strong sacroiliac ligaments - dorsal (ligg. sacroilliaca dorsalia), passing on the dorsal surface of the bones, and ventral (ligg. sacroilliaca ventralia) connecting ventral to the surface. Starting from the sacrum, a large and small sciatic notch pass the sacro-spinous (lig. sacrospinale) and sacroiliac bugornaya (lig. sacrotuberale) ligament. Attaching to the ischial spine (the sacro-spinous) and buttocks (sacroiliac bugornaya), these bundles make the large and small sciatic notch, respectively, in a large (foramen ischiadica majus) and small (foramen ischiadica minus) sciatic foramen.

In addition, each pelvic bone articulates with the lumbar spine through the ilio-lumbar ligament (lig. iliolumbale) which connects the transverse process of lumbar vertebra V with posterior iliac crest. Pelvic bone also articulates with the upper epiphysis of the femur (hip).
